"Do Not Tow" Sticker
Remove the sticker from your Driver Kit and stick it on the front windscreen (driver's
side) with the DO NOT TOW side facing out. The sticker is very important to ensure
that your vehicle is towed to a safe and secure area by approved EAM service provider.
Accident Reporting
In the event of an accident where the vehicle is non-drivable, please call our 24hr
Toll Free number on 0860 427 7478 immediately to log a call. EAM
will dispatch the nearest available towing unit to the scene.
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW any other towing operator other than the one communicated to
you to tow your vehicle as unnecessary release fees will be incurred by your company.
In the event of an accident where the vehicle is still drivable, please call our
24hr Toll Free number on 0860 427 7478 to log a call as soon as
possible after the accident. In order to effectively manage the repair and ensure
that there are no delays in the process, please ensure that the incident is logged
telephonically as calls can not be logged via a faxed claim form.
Once the call has been logged, you will required to fill in a claim form that will
be faxed to you. The completed claim form together with a clear copy of your id
and driver's licence must be sent back to EAM on 0860 427 7478
ASAP in order to reduce the down time of the vehicle. Please note that EAM will
not issue the instruction to commence the repair process until we have received
a complete claim form, ID and driver's licence. You will also be advised during
the initial call on which panel beater will be contacting you in order to complete
the necessary quotes (NB Please not that only quotes as requested by EAM will be
accepted)
EAM will manage the entire process, which includes:
- Dispatching of necessary towing suppliers if the vehicle is not drivable.
- Obtaining the necessary quotes from the pre-selected suppliers.
- Obtaining an assessors report (if necessary).
- Issuing of the purchase order.
- Managing the work in progress.
- Post repair inspections on repairs greater than R15 000.
